The Visa Application Center for India in Moscow and St. Petersburg will resume operations for submission of applications from 09:00 until 16:00 only accepting applicants on Tuesday and Thursday from 3rd November 2020 for Moscow and 9th November 2020 for St. Petersburg that have booked an appointment online for the following categories:

As operations at the Visa Application Centers for India in Moscow and St. Petersburg, you are kindly asked to adhere to the highest standards of health and safety based on the recommendations of the World Health Organization and local health authorities: you will need to self-disclose COVID-19 symptoms, to undergo temperature screening at the entrance of the VAC using non-contact equipment, to wear appropriate mask and gloves. You will be checked contactless by the security service of the VAC. In case you have any symptoms of COVID-19, please, DO NOT visit our VAC. Applicants without mask and gloves and applicants with a temperature rise above 37 degrees will not be allowed to enter the premises. As the VAC cannot be crowded, you may be asked to wait outside the VAC. While waiting inside, please keep social distance of 1.5 - 2 meters. Only one person will be authorized for each 8 m². Limited number of customers will be permitted inside the Centre.

Please be informed that your appointment slot will be rescheduled to a later date in case you have any COVID-19 symptoms. We suggest you to prepare your application and all necessary documents in advance to avoid waiting time at the VAC

Protecting the health of applicants and our employees during these times is of utmost importance. We are following the recommendations of the Health and Governmental authorities and have put in place best practices to minimize the possible exposure of applicants and employees. For these reasons, applicants are requested not to come twice to our premises; your passports can be returned via courier service at a minimal cost.

For urgent cases only, passports may be collected:

- at IVAC in Moscow and St. Petersburg from 09:00 until 13:00 after prior arrangement on Tuesday and Thursday.

    Dear Applicants,
    This is to intimate that the competent authorities in Government of India has issued the following visa restriction related to COVID-19.
    a) All existing visas, except diplomatic, official, UN / International Organizations, employment, project visas, stand suspended till 15th April 2020.
    b) Any foreign national who intends to travel to India for compelling reason may contact the nearest Indian Mission.
    In view of above, it is requested to not accept visa applications at IVAC until further update on the matter.

    Visa Fee (October 1, 2018)

    As part of further liberalization, simplification and rationalization of visa regime in India to facilitate greater movement & interaction between the people of the two countries, multiple entry, Tourist and Business visa up to a period of 5 years can be granted to the Russian nationals when biometric enrollment is started.

    The Embassy of India, Moscow further wishes to inform that the Visa Service Charge for the nationals of the Russian Federation and the visa fee for the remaining nationalities have been adjusted to the prevailing exchange rates. The new rates for the Visa Service Charges for all types of visas for the Russian nationals is as follows :

    1. Single Entry - Ruble 2749/-
    2. Double Entry - Ruble 6184/-
    3. Multiple Entry - Ruble 8246/-

    In addition to the above, Valid Indian visas can be transferred at the rate of Russian Rubles 2330.

    The new rates shall come into effect from October 1, 2018. The Government charges @ Russian ICWF charge - Ruble 207/-and the service charges of the Outsourcing Agency will continue to remain the same till further notice.
